Labrador City, NL The Cain’s Quest finale was filled with excitement and admiration as racers made their way across the finish line. Race fans braved the cold temperatures and made their way to the finish line on Tanya Lake. Media for television, radio and print were front and center as the Cain’s Quest 2009 Champions flew across the finish line. In first place, Team 31, Tim Lessard and Eric Hall from Maine ripped across the finish line on March 19th at an unofficial time of 1602:21. Lessard and Hall are first timers to Cain’s Quest and were nothing short of impressive the entire length of the race. Keeping up with the top teams and being the first to cross the finish line in the world’s toughest snowmobile endurance race is an amazing feat and this team has just set the bar for racers to come.
